Everyday we have homework. The expectation for the children in Room L is that they will have a browser book to read everyday. If they choose to read a chapter book from home that is fine as well. Having parents or a caregiver read to your children is also encouraged.
The children will have spelling every week. They have a specific level that they draw their words from. These words are not rated on difficulty but rather the amount of times they appear in a text. This list is to provide a good base for children to start their reading and their writing with.
