Wow we finally have the winners of Britain's got Talent. Congratulations Diversity what an inspiration to all young people around the world who are desirous of following their dreams and realizing them. If you think that someone else should have won then leave a comment and tell me who.
On Thursday afternoon we got the opportunity to listen to the Story Teller. He had incredible stories to share and he made amazing music to listen to. What a joy to have this traveler share his treasures with us.
It was a muddy wet day but rugby was the winner. Every Saturday at Victoria park we play rugby from 9 o'clock until 10 o'clock. Jamie's team, which is Taranaki had a good win. Their score was 20-3. Layton's team, which is Counties won 19-6. What a day I love playing rugby and we get to do it all again this weekend.

We have a new an exciting endeavour that we are embarking on. This week Room L's cross grouped maths class are beginning the trial of Mathletics. This is an interactive maths site that motivates children to learn, practise and reinforce their mathematical learning. This website is very child friendly and best of all it can be accessed from any terminal that has an internet connection. The trial will be for 14 days and we will evaluate the children's learning thereafter. So parents it would be good if you can jump onto the site with your child and check out what they are doing. Just a note, all the children that are registered for the trial have their own username and password. Have fun!
